I’ve lived a good life. I’ve been a waitress, an assistant manager of a convenience store, an elementary school teacher and a domestic organizer.
Throughout my life, I found joy in simple pleasures—reading, walking wherever I needed to go, writing letters, poems, and songs, dancing, and laughing. Above all, I cherished helping others and spending time with my family and friends.
From my dad I got my gift of organizing. From my mom I got my gift of friendship. From my stepdad the gift to just do what needs to be done without thinking too much about it (or over thinking it). I have not done anything particularly awesome in this life, but I have loved and have been loved. That is enough. I am totally fulfilled.
I thank everyone who has been part of my life in big ways and little ways. You all made a difference and helped me create the simple yet wonderful life I have lived.
And I thank God who guided me and blessed me every step of the way.
