BW Fusion has named Dean Williams as its new Chief Executive Officer, bringing more than 40 years of experience in the agriculture industry to the position.
Williams has worked with a variety of agricultural businesses throughout his career. He says he is looking forward to helping BW Fusion grow its work in biological crop solutions and data-driven precision agronomy.
Williams also emphasized the importance of protecting the nation’s soil. He said the quality of soil in the United States is among the best in the world, making good stewardship and nutrient management especially important for farmers.
One goal is to help producers “unlock” nutrients already available in the soil. Williams says doing so could reduce farmers’ reliance on synthetic fertilizers, which may help offset some of the rising costs of agricultural inputs.
Williams also stressed the importance of building strong relationships with producers. He said BW Fusion has an experienced agronomic team focused on helping farmers find solutions that fit their individual operations.
