A Wapello County area man has been listed as missing on the Iowa Missing Person Information Clearinghouse, with his last known contact recorded on August 6th, 2026.
Rory Lauren McClendon, 35, was last contacted on August 6th. McClendon is described as a white male, 5 feet 8 inches tall, weighing approximately 150 pounds, with brown hair and hazel eyes.
Anyone who believes they have seen McClendon is asked not to take any action themselves, but to gather as much information as possible — including any vehicle license plate numbers, exact location of the sighting, and what the individual was doing — and then contact the Wapello County Sheriff’s Office in Ottumwa.
