Todd Anthony Clark of Mystic, Iowa passed away at 3:34 p.m. July 29, 2026 at his home.
He was born September 30, 1975 at Freeman Hospital in Joplin, Missouri to Thomas and JaNan Olson Clark.
He graduated from Ottumwa High School in 1994. He completed Harley Davidson Training in Phoenix, Arizona. He worked for Waterloo Cycle for 5 years and became a Master mechanic. He had also worked at C and C Cycle in Chariton, Iowa. He then worked with a friend in a small shop in Albia, Iowa. Todd loved motorcycles and kept active on his own little shop in Parkersburg, Iowa.
He also enjoyed hiking, camping and boating. Todd enjoyed being in nature and spending time with the cousins he loved. One of Todd’s best memories is following the Grateful Dead band in the summer of 1995. He also enjoyed spending time with his friends at the Pale Moon in Centerville, Iowa.
He is survived by his mother, JaNan Olson Clark of Rathbun Lake; he is also survived by the love of his life, Melissa Westfall; his aunt, Marcia Olson Luetkemeyer (Mike) of Keokuk; his aunt, Teresa Brisendine (Jerry); his aunt Lois Clark Brisendine also of Ottumwa; first cousins Jake Brisendine of Ottumwa, Tim Stout of Des Moines, Sara (Todd) Hassinen of Albia, several cousins, extended family members and friends.
Todd was preceded in death by his father, Thomas L Clark of Mystic, Iowa; grandparents, Thomas and Donna Clark of Ottumwa. grandparents Earl “Spike” Olson and Deloris “Gussie” Olson of Ottumwa; his uncle Jim Clark of Ottumwa and first cousin Nicole Lynn Brisendine of Ottumwa and his uncle Keith Brisendine.
His body has been cremated. Memorial services will be 1 p.m. Friday August 7th at Reece Funeral Home. Visitation with his family present to greet friends will be one hour prior to the service. Inurnment will be in Memorial Lawn Cemetery at a later date.
