Sigourney High School will hold Senior Media Day on Sunday, August 9th from 2:00 to 3:00 p.m. for all members of the Class of 2027 who participate in extracurricular activities, according to a social media post from the Sigourney Community School District.
Misc. on Main will be on site to take photos for senior banners, which will be displayed in the gymnasium or along the fence during football season. Any senior involved in football, volleyball, cross country, bowling, basketball, wrestling, cheerleading, soccer, track, trap shooting, golf, baseball, softball, band, vocal, speech, drama, FFA, or other extracurricular activities is required to attend and have a photo taken.
The cost per banner is $40.00, payable the day of photos. Seniors involved in football and another sport will need two banners. The district noted that if cost is a concern for any family, they should reach out and assistance will be provided. Banners will belong to the seniors at the end of the school year.
