After a long and courageous battle with cancer, Doyle McDonald passed away peacefully with his fiancee by his side, and surrounded by the love of family and friends.
Doyle was deeply loved and will be profoundly missed by those whose lives he touched. He is survived by his fiancée, Kirsten Pettersen, and her daughters, Sonja and Melissa Hanson; his sister, Linda Kastens and his niece Keysha (Andrew) Stark, Olivia, Elliot and Charlie; and nephew Michael (Dawn) Kastens. He will be dearly missed .
Doyle is also survived by his best friend, Tim Morris, and Tim’s wife, Jill Morris; his devoted friend, Dan Lennie; Garrett and Milton Wilson; Ericka and Michael Klinger and their children, Crew, Quincy, Georgia, and Francis; Stephanie and Trevor Radosevich and their children, Carmen and Charlie; Kris Alister and Hadley; Donna Alister, Alexandria and Iden Sinai and Kennedy; and so many other beloved family members and friends whose lives were enriched by knowing him.
Doyle was a beloved partner, father, brother, son, uncle, and friend. He was larger than life, funny, kind, humble, and endlessly generous. His work ethic was steadfast and unwavering , not because he sought wealth or recognition, but because he genuinely wanted those around him to succeed. He was the kind of man people could always count on. He made others feel welcome and at ease, stepped in to help without hesitation, and protected and supported those he loved while treating everyone with fairness and respect.
Doyle enjoyed the simple pleasures of life and the people who shared them with him. He loved riding his Harley motorcycle, the occasional glass of Crown, following the Kansas City Chiefs, enjoying music concerts, local and state community events , travel and vacationing with his fiancee, and spending time enjoying life with family and friends. He devoted many years of his career to Agriland FS, Inc., where he was respected for his dedication and hard work.
Service to others was at the heart of who Doyle was. Whether volunteering for school events, helping his community, or delivering propane and other essential services to areas affected by natural disasters, he was always willing to lend a hand where it was needed most. He believed in helping people and quietly made a difference in the lives of many.
His devotion to family, friends, and community left a lasting impact on countless lives. He was deeply loved, and his absence will be deeply felt. While we wish we had been granted more time with him, we are profoundly grateful for the time we shared.
His memory will live on in the hearts of all who knew and loved him.
