Roberta Doris Parks, 50, of Ottumwa died April 29, 2026 at her home.
She was born April 23, 1976 in Keosauqua to Robert Wayne Haynes and Ruth Marie Thomas. Roberta married Robert Lee Parks August 2, 2007.
Growing up in Keosauqua and Fairfield, Roberta attended Van Buren County High School where she played basketball and ran track. She worked at TLC, Hardee’s, Burger King and the Monroe County Care Center in Albia. Roberta was also a driver for Uber, Doordash, Grubhub and more recently, Spark.
She loved watching her daughter, Christina play softball and her son, Jacob play baseball. Roberta also enjoyed fishing and watching her crime shows on television.
Surviving is her husband, Robert; her son, Jacob Daniel Haynes; her daughter, Christina Marie Parks; siblings, Donna (Dale) Dingus, Dennis (Diane) Turner, Chuck (Sharon) Newbold, Linda Thompson, Dixie Haynes and Kippi Reynolds.
She was preceded in death by her parents and half-sister, Jody Turner.
Her body has been cremated and no services are planned at this time.
