Authorities responded to a report involving a possible violation of a court-ordered no-contact agreement.

On March 18th at approximately 6:58 p.m., the Ottumwa Police Department was dispatched to the 900 block of West 2nd Street in reference to a reported violation of a no-contact order.

Court documents indicate that Guenevere Wong, 22, of Ottumwa, and the protected party are subject to a valid no-contact order. Wong is accused of making contact with the protected party in violation of that order.

According to the criminal complaint, a witness observed Wong sitting across from the victim in a community room. Wong later admitted to authorities that she had made contact with the protected party.

Wong is currently being held at the Wapello County Jail on a $300 cash/surety bond. A pretrial conference is scheduled for April 9th.

Wong is charged with violation of a no-contact/protective order, a simple misdemeanor.
