Mayor Connie Boyer and Fairfield City Council members approved the appointment of three new Fairfield Media Center committee members during the February 9th City Council meeting.
The new committee members are Mendy McAdams, Director of the Fairfield Area Chamber of Commerce; Amy Devlin, Director of Audio Visual Services at Maharishi International University; and Richard Lint, a local content creator.
“I am looking forward to working with our new committee members and the fresh perspective they bring to the table,” said FMC Director Jason Strong.
Committee Chair Dick DeAngelis thanked outgoing members for their service. “We want to thank our committee members who have completed their term. You have helped to positively impact our community and we wish you the very best.”
The Fairfield Media Center makes locally created video content available to the community through two YouTube channels, its website, and various social media platforms accessible on mobile devices, computers, and smart TVs. The organization also promotes media literacy through video production education, editing, and critical viewing.
