The Jefferson County Cattlemen held their annual banquet on Thursday, January 15th at the Walton Club, celebrating another successful year while honoring outstanding contributors to the beef industry and supporting the next generation through scholarships.
The evening began with a social hour at 5:00 p.m., followed by dinner at 6:00 p.m. and a live auction.
The organization expressed heartfelt gratitude to all who attended, noting that the support and enthusiasm from the community encourages them to continue their mission of sharing beef industry knowledge with youth, producers, and consumers across Jefferson County and beyond.
The evening’s highlight included the presentation of the Jefferson County Cattlemen’s Lifetime Achievement Award to Dyle Van Fleet and Zoe Mortiz in recognition of their contributions to the beef industry.
Four students were recognized as scholarship recipients: Emily White, Hailey Pedrick, Zach Doud, and Olivia Hollander. These scholarships will help further their education as they pursue the careers of their choice.
Steffes Group conducted the live auction, which ran smoothly and provided entertainment for all in attendance. The Cattlemen thanked everyone who donated items and participated in the auction, emphasizing that the community’s support truly makes a difference in their ongoing work.
The Jefferson County Cattlemen continue their commitment to promoting beef industry education and supporting the agricultural community throughout the region.
