A 21-year-old Oskaloosa man is facing multiple charges following an incident Monday morning in which he allegedly threatened self-harm and was subsequently found in possession of drug paraphernalia in Fairfield.
Logun Eugene Cline was arrested around 9:39 a.m. on November 24th and charged with three counts of Harassment – 3rd Degree (simple misdemeanors) and Possession of Drug Paraphernalia (simple misdemeanor).
Harassment Allegations
According to the criminal complaint, the alleged victim was attempting to leave her friend’s residence when Cline walked up and started yelling at her. The victim locked herself inside a car to avoid the confrontation.
While the victim remained in the locked vehicle, Cline allegedly struck the window and threatened to harm himself. When the victim did not open the car door or exit the vehicle, Cline reportedly pulled out a knife and cut his arm multiple times, according to court documents.
Drug Paraphernalia Discovery
Investigators report that Cline was interviewed and then arrested on a separate matter. During a search incident to arrest, Cline allegedly stated he had needles and baggies in his pockets.
Officers located four needles and several small baggies containing white residue on Cline’s person, according to the complaint. One of the baggies also allegedly had residue of a green leafy substance that Cline stated was “weed.”
While searching a bag Cline had on his person, officers reportedly found a glass smoking device with residue and a scale with residue, the complaint states.
According to court documents, Cline allegedly also made comments about using methamphetamine within the last ten days.
Legal Proceedings
Cline is being held on a $300 cash or surety bond. A pretrial conference is scheduled for January 8th, 2026, at the Jefferson County Magistrate Court.
