On November 21st and 22nd, the Wapello County Expo hosted its 6th Annual Enchanted Forest, transforming the venue into a festive wonderland. The hallways were beautifully decorated, featuring a stunning array of Christmas trees, wreaths, and various holiday items available for purchase.

Visitors were treated to a delightful selection of sweet treats, making the event even more enjoyable. For lunch, attendees could savor several kinds of handmade soups, perfect for warming up during the chilly season.

A special highlight of the event was the cookie walk held in memory of Niki King. Participants could fill a container with homemade cookies for a small price, making it a sweet and meaningful way to honor her memory.

Of course, the children’s favorite was none other than Santa Claus himself and his special elf Ella, who warmly welcomed little ones to share their wish lists. Santa even entertained the crowd by singing a few Christmas songs, adding to the festive atmosphere.

Upstairs, The Grinch was waiting to greet children, providing another fun opportunity for families to take photos and enjoy the holiday spirit.

Overall, the Enchanted Forest was a heartwarming celebration of the season, bringing the community together through festive activities, delicious food, and cherished holiday traditions.
