Mahaska County Conservation is proud to announce the upcoming groundbreaking of its newest outdoor initiative: the Nature Playscape at the Environmental Learning Center. The public is invited to attend a special ceremony on Friday, April 25, 2025, at 1:00 PM to celebrate the start of this innovative project.
The Nature Playscape is designed to encourage creativity, exploration, and a stronger connection to nature for individuals of all ages. Featuring natural elements and open-ended play opportunities, the space will serve as both a dynamic playground and a peaceful retreat for visitors seeking to enjoy the outdoors.
