Dale Eugene Berry, age 74, of Ottumwa, died at 2:20 p.m., February 27, 2025 at Ottumwa Regional Hospital.
He was born March 24, 1950 in Oskaloosa, Iowa to Eli Dale and Margaret Jean (Masters) Berry. He married Barbara Jean Hull in 1974 and they later divorced.
Dale loved watching his favorite teams the Minnesota Vikings and the Iowa Hawkeyes. he was an avid sports guy. He also loved playing shuffleboard with his very good friends, “The Puck Chuckers”.
He is survived by his children, Kevin (Jami) Berry of Ottumwa; Kelly (Dale) Wooldridge of Unionville, Iowa; son, David (Lindee) Berry of Ottumwa; grandchildren, Baya Winters, Lyvia and Gabby Berry, William and Dakota Wooldridge, Jacob and Mackenzie Berry; sister, Linda Berry, many nieces, nephews, great nieces and great nephews, and a very special friend, Barbara Wilson also survive. He was preceded in death by his parents, and sister, Sandra Hicks.
A celebration of life service will be held at 2:00 p.m. on Saturday, March 8, 2025 at the First Pentecostal Assemble of God, 733 Church St., Ottumwa, Iowa with Pastor Richard Schlotter officiating.
