Timothy Ray Fridley, 64, of Agency, died January 26, 2025 at his home.

He was born May 5, 1960 in Ottumwa to Jesse “Jerry” Sr. and Rosemary Shilling Fridley. He married Lesley Hindsley.

A 1978 graduate of Eddyville High School, Tim served in the US Army, serving in Desert Storm and with the Kansas Army National Guard. He worked at Retro Europe at Fort Riley as a mechanic and had worked at Walmart.

Tim was a member of O.B. Nelson Post #3 American Legion and Walter B. Schafer Post #775 Veterans of Foreign Wars. He enjoyed fishing and loved auctions. He especially loved spending time with his family.

Surviving is his wife, Lesley; his children, Arminda Fridley, Miranda (Shaun) Ruggiero, Rachel Fridley (Jamal Murphy) and Michael Fridley; 10 grandchildren, Ethanial Bell, Sareeaunna Bell, Ian Ruggiero, Eli Ruggiero, Trenton Ruggiero, Valie Ruggiero, Zayden Ruggiero and Autumn Ruggiero, Jamal Murphy, Sammy Murphy and Karina Murphy; siblings, John (Shelly) Fridley, Diana (George) Nichols, Wanda Songer, Georgia (Larry) Miller and Martha (Albert) Sanders; and many nieces and nephews.

He was preceded in death by his parents; a brother, Butch Fridley; grandson, Milez Bell; and son-in-law, David Bell.

Visitation will be open at 1 p.m. Thursday, January 30th at Reece Funeral Home with the family present to greet friends from 4 p.m. to 6 p.m. Thursday. 

Funeral services will be 10 a.m. Friday, January 31st at Reece Funeral Home with Pastor Phil Morrison officiating. Burial will be in Memorial Lawn Cemetery with military honors conducted by Walter B. Schafer Post #775 Veterans of Foreign Wars and O.B. Nelson Post #3 American Legion.

Memorials may be made to the family.
