A Centerville man was sentenced after pleading guilty to sexually abusing a minor in 2021.
67-year-old David Clemens received a five year suspended sentence.
On December 18, 2021, court records say Clemens approached the 8-year-old victim at the victim’s aunt’s residence. According to court records, Clemens proceeded to touch the victim inappropriately after the victim told Clemens to stop. Police said the victim felt “weird”, “grossed out”, and “uncomfortable”.
Clemens is also required to register as a sex offender and have no contact with the victim.
