The city of Ottumwa is warning residents to stop illegal dumping.
In a press release, the city says it is noticing excessive trash being brought from homes and businesses in the park dumpsters.
The city says dumpsters in parks are there for park-related activities. This act is illegal and people caught committing this violation may be subject to citations and fines.
