Representatives from the state’s contractor for the Disaster Case Advocacy program will be available in Ottumwa Tuesday through Friday from 11 a.m. to 7 p.m. at the REMAX Pride Training Center. The in-person support aims to assist residents affected by recent disasters by connecting them with resources, guiding them through recovery processes, and helping address unmet needs.
The Disaster Case Advocacy program is designed to provide one-on-one assistance to individuals and families as they work through recovery. Representatives can help with accessing available aid, navigating application processes, and identifying additional local and state resources.
Community members seeking support are encouraged to visit during the designated hours to speak with program representatives and receive assistance tailored to their specific recovery needs.
