An Ollie man is facing a felony sexual assault charge following an investigation into allegations stemming from a tattoo appointment at a Fairfield business.
Louis Stanley Fitzner II, 49, was arrested Monday, March 2nd with Sexual Abuse in the 3rd Degree, a Class C felony, after officers obtained a warrant in connection with the case.
According to court documents, the victim went to Ink Therapy on February 10th at approximately 8:00 p.m. to receive a tattoo from Fitzner. The tattoo was placed on her left thigh, and due to its location, the victim was wearing shorts during the session.
Court documents allege that while performing the tattoo, Fitzner asked if he could lean over the victim during the procedure, and the victim consented. While leaned over and actively tattooing the victim, Fitzner allegedly made unwanted sexual contact with the victim against her will and consent.
According to a press release from the Fairfield Police Department, officers took a report on February 11th from the victim, who stated she had been sexually assaulted during the tattoo appointment.
Officers immediately initiated an investigation into the allegations. As part of that investigation, information was gathered and reviewed, and on February 26th, officers requested an arrest warrant.
On March 2nd, a judge reviewed the submitted information and granted the warrant. Later that same day, officers located Fitzner and took him into custody without incident.
Fitzner is being held at the Jefferson County Correctional Facility on a $10,000 cash only bond.
