Marion County residents now have a convenient new way to stay connected with local law enforcement through the Marion County Sheriff’s Office mobile app. Designed with community safety and communication in mind, the app puts important information and resources directly at users’ fingertips.
The mobile platform offers a wide range of features, including real-time alerts for severe weather and AMBER notifications, the latest updates from the Sheriff’s Office, inmate and jail information, a tip submission tool, and details on registered sex offenders. Users can also opt in to receive push notifications, ensuring they are quickly informed of urgent updates in their area.
Sheriff Jason Sandholdt emphasized the value of the app as a free and accessible resource for the public, noting that community response has been strong since its launch. The app continues to gain users as residents recognize its convenience and usefulness in staying informed.
Community members can download the app at no cost from the Apple App Store or Google Play Store. It is also accessible through QR codes available throughout Marion County. Anyone with questions is encouraged to contact the Marion County Sheriff’s Office for assistance.
This new tool reflects the department’s ongoing commitment to transparency, accessibility, and public safety across the county.
