Randy Lunsford took home top honors at the annual Ottumwa Family Trout Fishing Day on Saturday, March 21, 2026, with a 17-inch rainbow trout.
The annual event, organized by Scott Bailey in conjunction with the City of Ottumwa Parks and Recreation Department and the Iowa Department of Natural Resources, brings in people from all around to witness the pond being restocked with rainbow trout, enjoy some fishing, and have a morning of fun with the family, friends, and fellow anglers.
