State Farm Agent Shawn McCarty, serving southeast Iowa from his office at 604 W Burlington in Fairfield, along with Ottumwa Radio Group, would like to congratulate Fairfield Wrestler Samantha Lyons, our 104.3 KRKN Athlete of the Week!
As the number 2 seed in the Class 1A 170-pound bracket at the Iowa High School Girls State Wrestling Tournament, Lyons pinned her first two opponents to reach the semifinals. After falling to the eventual state champion, Lyons ended up on the podium with a sixth place finish.
