William Penn University, along with Ottumwa Radio Group, would like to congratulate EBF Wrestler Gage Spurgeon, our 1240 AM/102.7 FM KBIZ Athlete of the Week!
The junior once again climbed to the top of the mountain in the state tournament in Des Moines. Spurgeon finished the season undefeated (55-0) and captured the Class 2A 132 pound title after a 5-1 overtime win in the final. This is Spurgeon’s second title after winning the 120 pound crown his freshman season.
