Beverly A. Rice, 78, of Ottumwa, died at 4:20 p.m. February 2, 2026 at Oakwood Specialty Care in Albia.
She was born August 6, 1947 in Burlington to Katherine Marie Rice.
Beverly was involved with work programs at Glenwood State Hospital and Crossroads and Odessa. She attended dayhab activities with TENCO and First Resources.
Beverly loved Elvis, coloring, anyone in uniform and playing cards. She enjoyed spending time crafting with friends and getting her nails done.
Surviving is a family she had adopted as her own.
She was preceded in death by her mother, Katherine.
Visitation will be 3 p.m. to 5 p.m. Saturday, February 7, 2026 at Reece Funeral Home.
Cremation will follow the visitation.
