Snow is expected mainly across northern and northeastern Iowa later today. Gusty winds and snow showers will impact much of Iowa on Wednesday, with blowing snow primarily affecting northern and northeastern areas. Very cold conditions are expected statewide later in the week.
WHEN:
- Late this afternoon into tonight: Periods of accumulating snowfall, especially in northern and northeastern Iowa.
- Wednesday afternoon into evening: Strong winds combined with snow showers may lead to reduced visibility and blowing snow.
- Late Thursday through Saturday: Bitterly cold temperatures are expected across all of Iowa.
