– Main Street Ottumwa is excited to announce the return of Puttin’ Around Downtown, a fan-favorite mini golf crawl through downtown Ottumwa, taking place on Thursday, March 13 from 3pm to 7pm. After a brief hiatus, the event is back by
popular request and will once again invite participants to explore downtown businesses in a fun and interactive way.

Puttin’ Around Downtown is a team-based mini golf experience where each participating downtown business hosts a custom mini golf hole. Teams move from location to location, completing the course while enjoying the creativity and hospitality of local businesses along the
way.

Teams of up to four golfers can register for $30 per team, with opportunities to compete for prizes awarded throughout the crawl. Registration is now open at mainstreetottumwa.com/events.

This year’s event also introduces a new official mascot, Dimple, an illustrated golf ball character who will serve as the playful face of Puttin’ Around Downtown. Dimple will appear in event promotions and on social media, helping bring the spirit of the event to life.

“Puttin’ Around Downtown is one of those events people ask about year after year, so we’re thrilled to bring it back,” said Kris Patrick, Executive Director of Main Street Ottumwa. “It’s a great way to experience downtown, support local businesses, and have a lot of fun with friends.”

Community members are encouraged to gather a team, register early, and mark their calendars for an evening of mini golf and downtown fun.
