Fairfield Youth Performing Arts (FYPA) has announced the date for its Annual Board Meeting and Board Elections, giving members and community supporters an opportunity to help shape the organization’s future.
The meeting is scheduled for Tuesday, January 27th, 2026, at 7:00 p.m. and will be held at the Fairfield Arts and Convention Center. The event is open to FYPA members, supporters, and the public.
According to FYPA, the annual meeting will include a review of accomplishments from the past year, discussion of goals and strategic plans moving forward, and updates on the organization’s ongoing work in youth theatre. A major focus of the evening will be the election of board members.
Eligible FYPA members will be able to vote in the board elections. A quorum, defined as one-third of eligible members, must be present to conduct the vote. Voting eligibility requires an active FYPA membership as of January 13th, 2026. Individuals who are registered youth performers or volunteers are considered members and may vote if they are 13 years of age or older. Members planning to vote are asked to notify the FYPA Board by email at least 48 hours prior to the meeting.
Membership sign-up information is available through the Fairfield Youth Performing Arts Facebook page or by email request. Those who plan to attend and vote are also encouraged to RSVP by email.
