Richard Jay Conrad, 74, of Eldon died November 5, 2025 in Ottumwa.
He was born January 24, 1951 in Ottumwa to Charles “Bud” and Shirley Finney Conrad.
Having grown up in Eldon, he was a 1969 graduate of Cardinal High School.
Rick was well liked, well read and well-traveled. He was an avid fisherman and always caught a buzz.
Surviving are two daughters, Nisha and Hanne; four grandsons; a sister, Becky (Ted) Carman; a brother, Ron Conrad; a niece, Michelle Ballard of Eldon; three nephews, Michael Carman, Nicholas Conrad and Bradley Conrad all of Eldon.
He was preceded in death by his parents.
His body has been cremated. Private inurnment will be in the Eldon Cemetery.
Memorials may be made to the Eldon Depot.
