A Missouri man was arrested in Keokuk earlier this week for allegedly soliciting a minor girl for sex.
49-year-old Timothy Lee Fuller of Kahoka, Missouri, faces charges of enticing a minor under 16 (Class D felony), grooming (Class D felony), sexual exploitation of a minor (Class D felony), and possession of methamphetamine (serious misdemeanor).
The Keokuk Police Department says it was contacted on February 26 by an outside law enforcement agency asking for assistance with an active investigation that led them to Keokuk.
Police say the investigation determined that Fuller solicited what he reasonably believed to be an underage female for a sexual relationship. Authorities say Fuller contacted the girl on the internet. Fuller allegedly arranged to meet the minor at a predetermined location in Keokuk. Fuller was placed under arrest when he arrived at the location.
Fuller is currently housed in the Lee County Jail. His bond has been set at $30,000. A preliminary hearing has been scheduled for March 7.
