Brenda and the team at Meridian Credit Union in Ottumwa, along with Ottumwa Radio Group, would like to congratulate Davis County Baseball Player Evan Bennett, our 101.5 KKSI-FM Athlete of the Week!
Last Tuesday, the senior pitcher stepped up and helped put an end to Davis County’s seven-game losing streak with a complete game gem. Bennett allowed just one unearned run on two hits while walking two and striking out seven in the Mustangs’ 9-1 win over Albia.
