A tornado touched down northeast of Ottumwa Friday afternoon.
The National Weather service confirmed a tornado at 3:45 PM near Hedrick in Wapello County. Multiple reports say a home was damaged. No injuries have been reported.
Friday afternoon saw southeast Iowa experience a fast-moving storm that swept through the area featuring heavy rains, gusting winds, and baseball-sized hail.
