Ottumwa Woman Arrested Following Drug Raid

An Ottumwa woman is behind bars following the execution of a search warrant by law enforcement that uncovered various drugs, according to authorities.

Mindy Cordray, 46, has been charged with possession with intent to deliver more than five grams of methamphetamine, possession with intent to deliver marijuana, two counts of failure to affix a drug tax stamp, possession with intent to deliver a schedule 4 drug (Alprazolam), and possession of a Schedule II and IV controlled substances (enhanced).

According to Lieutenant Jason Bell of the Ottumwa Police Department, officers from the Ottumwa Police Department, Wapello County Sheriff’s Department, Iowa Division of Narcotics Enforcement, and the Southeast Iowa Inter-Agency Drug Task Force executed a search
warrant at a residence located at 301 S. Ward, in Ottumwa. The search warrant was carried out on Monday at approximately 1:15 PM.

Bell says law enforcement found distribution quantities of methamphetamine, marijuana, and pharmaceutical medications.

Cordray was arrested and transported to the Wapello County Jail. Her bail has been set at $30,300.
