It is the “Good Old Days” at the Nelson Pioneer Farm Fall Festival. On Saturday September 16, farmers, crafters, and towns folk will be celebrating life as it was way back then! There are things do and see all day long. Listen to the music, visit the old country doctor, ride a pony or pet a goat. Kids can make a corn-husk doll, dip a candle or make some soap. Win a ribbon at the spelling bee. Learn how to grow a giant pumpkin. Try some hot bread and fresh butter. Visit the Herald Press. And don’t miss the Pioneer Picnic. The Flag goes up at 9:30 in the morning. Top off the day at the vintage equipment parade.
