SUMMARY:Love Where You Live Celebration
DESCRIPTION:The Ottumwa Leadership Academy Class of 2024 is excited to announce its class project: Love Where You Live.\nThe celebration\, taking place on Friday May 10th and Saturday\, May 11th\, will serve as a way to recognize the 180th anniversary of Ottumwa being the Wapello County seat. \nThe Friday night portion of the event will feature a 0.325 mile fun run\, live music\, food trucks\, and a beverage garden in Central Park.\nThere will be opportunities to connect with neighbors and friends to take a walk together\, eat together\, & celebrate together as a community. \nFriday Activities:\n5 p.m. – Morgan’s Corner Street Party Kickoff\n5:30 p.m. – 0.325 Fun Run/Walk Sign-up\n6 p.m. – Fun Run/Walk from Morgan’s Corner to Central Park\n6 p.m. – Rushmore Live in Central Park\n8:30 p.m. – Fast Henry Live in Central Park \nMorgan’s Corner\n436 W 2nd St\nOttumwa IA \nThe Saturday portion of the event will feature tours of the Wapello County Courthouse\, a historical artifact exhibit\, as well as bounce houses\, pedal tractor pull\, and 4H stem activities\, and food trucks in Central Park.\nThere will be opportunities to connect with neighbors and friends to take a walk together\, eat together\, & celebrate together as a community. \nCentral Park\n105 2nd St E\nOttumwa IA \n(641) 682-6221\nOLAclass2024@gmail.com
