The Wapello County Law Center will be reopening to the public next week.
According to a press release, the Wapello County Law Center on 330 West 2nd Street will be reopening to the public on Monday, June 15. The hours of operation will be 8:00 a.m. to 4:30 p.m. Plexiglas has been installed at each counter to help ensure the safety of the public as well as the staff. Persons entering the building are asked to maintain a 6 foot distance and wear a mask if they have one available.
The Wapello County Jail will resume inmate visitation on June 15 as well. Visitation will be Monday through Thursday from 6:30 p.m. to 9:00 p.m. The visitation lobby’s capacity will be limited, therefore visitors are advised to expect longer waiting times. Three visitors will be allowed in at a time and staff will be present to monitor visitation and disinfect common surfaces between visits.
