Terry Lee “Pappy” Orndorff, 76, of Ottumwa, died at 6:55 a.m. August 22, 2022 at his home.
He was born September 23, 1945 in Ottumwa to Paul LeRoy and Marjorie Anthony Orndorff. Terry married Mary Jo Grear in December of 1965 and she preceded him in death on January 29, 2014.
A resident of Ottumwa all of his life, he had worked at Bud’s Tree Service in Hedrick and on a horse ranch in Newton.
Surviving are his daughters, Rhonda Lumsdon of North Liberty and Renata (Andrew) Bonner Morgan of North Liberty; 9 grandchildren, Melissa, Daniel, Joseph, Justin, Jacob, Jarrod, Jillian, Megan and John; 18 great-grandchildren; two sisters, Cheryl Reinier and Janice Bailey.
He was preceded in death by a daughter Terrie Lee Orndorff; a grandson, Jacob Lumsdon; son-in-law, Terry Lumsdon; siblings, Judy Duffy, Patty Rocha, Mary Rocha, Donnie Bailey and Jack Bailey.
His body has been cremated and no services are planned.
