Steven Arthur Bell, 60, of Ottumwa, died July 17, 2022 while on vacation in Arizona.
He was born January 9, 1962 in Creston, IA to Wendell Arthur and Francis Marie Norton Bell. He married Tasha Bacon-Kimmel November 11, 2000.
A graduate of Corning High School, he earned his bachelor’s degree from Northwest Missouri State University and his degree in Physical Therapy from the University of Iowa. Steve practiced in Cedar Rapids a short time before moving to Ottumwa in 1985 and working as a Physical Therapist for St. Joseph Hospital. He created Southeast Iowa Physical Therapy which he owned and operated until 2005. Since then, he has been a contract Physical Therapist for several different agencies in Southeast Iowa.
Surviving is his wife, Tasha; four children, Nathan Bell of Waukee, Christine Bell of Las Vegas, NV, Oliver Bell and Annelise Bell of Ottumwa; two grandchildren, Piper and Mason.
He was preceded in death by his parents and an infant son, Myles Bell.
His body has been cremated.
Memorial services will be 3 p.m. Tuesday, August 9 th at Reece Funeral Home with Pastor Brian Ochsner officiating. For those unable to attend, you may view the service live on the Reece Funeral Home Facebook page.
