The Nelson Pioneer Farm and Museum will be hosting the American Ropemakers Guild at their annual event KNOTS, LOOPS AND OTHER TWISTED CRAFTS.  Saturday, June 25^th the ropemakers will demonstrate their skills and accomplishments all day long. Visitors are invited to come out and share the fun of making rope, and watch them make a 200-foot-long rope for the Nelson Farm. Do-it-yourself activities include making a square cord using a lucet, make a hanging bird feeder, and try tatting a chain. Visitors can enjoy displays and demonstrations on spinning, weaving, lace making, and quilting. The Museum and all other buildings will be open to visit. Top off the day with buffalo sliders, cookies and cold drinks.

Admission is $7.00 per adult, $2.00 per child, free for MCHS members.
