Roger Alan Wiseman Sr., 60, of Ottumwa, died December 8, 2022 at Ridgewood Specialty Care.
He was born July 7, 1962 in Texas to Jerry Lee and Kathleen Jeanette Burtlow Wiseman Sr.
Roger had served in the U.S. Army. He had worked for Mayflower Moving Company and had been a driver for Dr. Pepper.
Roger enjoyed spending time at the Alpine Inn and Poncho’s bar. He enjoyed playing cards, playing pool and playing chess. Roger especially loved spending time with his grandkids.
Surviving are his children, Amanda (Scott) Alderson of Sigourney, Kathleen Brown of Texas, Cory Wiseman (Chelsey West) of Ottumwa, Kevin Kovar and Kyle Kovar both of Texas and Jerry Wiseman of Ottumwa; grandchildren, Hannah, Brock, Karleigh, Karsyn, Tristan and Tristen; a brother, Albert (Susan) Wiseman and a sister Barbara (Steve) White, both of Ottumwa.
He was preceded in death by his parents; a son, Roger Wiseman Jr., a grandson, Jude; and a brother Jerry Wiseman.
His body has been cremated and services are not planned at this time.
