River Hills Makes Holiday Donation to SIEDA

By Aaryn Frazier, December 06, 2018

Sieda’s annual “Share the Warmth” coat drive is up and running with multiple community participants giving back as is the theme of the winter holiday season.

One such donation was made by River Hills Community Health Center.

“Winter is upon us and with that comes frigid temperatures. Our employees donated over 200 pieces of winter clothing to Sieda Community Action today,” said a post from their Facebook page. “If you have any items you would like to donate and you live in the Ottumwa area, you may drop them off at Sieda located at 725 W 2nd St. If you live outside of Ottumwa, look to your local community agencies to see if they accept donations.”

Every large donation like the one from River Hills and other various businesses and groups is typically given a shoutout on Sieda’s Facebook page like the following:

“Thank you, everyone at River Hills Community Health Center, for the wonderful donations. Together as a community, we are sharing the warmth. 306 coats have been selected from the coat rack so far this winter.”

For more information contact Sieda directly at (641) 682-8741. For picking up coats or dropping off donations go to the Sieda lobby at the 725 W. 2nd St., Ottumwa location.
