Reesa A. Howell, 37, of Albia, died at 8:30 a.m. August 17, 2022 at University of Iowa Hospitals & Clinics in Iowa City.
Reesa was born November 4, 1984 in Ottumwa to Roger and Rebecca Pilcher-Baldwin Howell Jr.
She graduated from high school in Las Vegas, NV moving back to Ottumwa in 2011 and then moved to Albia in 2017.
Reesa worked as office manager at Aspen Dental and worked at AYM in Albia. She loved to wander around cemeteries reading the headstones. Reesa enjoyed true crime TV and books, loved people and spending time on Facebook.
Surviving are her sons, Tristen Carranza, Oren Carranza and Gunner Stevens; her companion, Justin Stevens; her parents Roger (Darla) Howell Jr. and Rebecca (Jorge) Hernandez; grandmother, Vicki Howell; siblings, Robin Howell, Roger “Bo” Howell III, Cassie Howell, Daniel Hernandez, Cameron Roe, Keila Ross, Tayler Roe; Krystal Restrepo and Isaias Hernandez.
She was preceded in death by grandparents, Roger Howell Sr., Terry and Ralph Baldwin, Russell and Shirley Pilcher.
Her body has been cremated. Services are not planned at this time.
