The Wapello County Recorder’s Office has resumed accepting applications for passports.
According to the Recorder’s office, residents can apply for routine service. After applying, individuals should expect to receive their passport in 10-12 weeks.
An expidited service can also be requested at the cost of $60. People using this option can get their passport in 4-6 weeks.
The Recorder’s Office will take applications for new passports as well as renewals. Additionally, the office will be able to take passport photos.
Appointments are encouraged and can be arranged by calling (641) 683-0045. Applications are accepted Monday through Friday from 8:00 AM to 4:15 PM.
