Randy Dean Cloke, 57, of Oskaloosa, IA passed away Saturday, February 23, 2019 at the Mahaska Health Partnership in Oskaloosa, IA. As were Randy’s wishes his body has been cremated. A time to share stories and celebrate Randy’s life will be held from 4:00 until 6:00 p.m on Thursday, February 28, 2019 at the Cranston Family Funeral Home in Eldon, IA. In lieu of flowers, memorial contributions in Randy’s honor may be directed to the family. Friends may sign the online guestbook at

Randy Dean Cloke was born on October 26, 1961 to Gary and Beverly McKittrick Cloke. He grew up in Eldon, IA and attended Cardinal Community Schools. Randy knew the value of hard work and began working at an early age. He worked several years in construction and as a heavy equipment operator. He wasn’t afraid to tackle any project. Later in his life Randy put his talents and love of the outdoors to work as a landscaper. He enjoyed hunting, camping, and spent many hours searching and collecting old bottles he would find along the river. He was a loving father to his children and grandchildren and enjoyed every moment he had with them. On November 11, 2018 he was united in marriage to Sandra in Oskaloosa, IA. With this union his family grew with the addition of stepchildren who he also cared for like his own. Randy was a loving husband, father, grandfather and brother who will be deeply missed by his family and many friends.

Randy was preceded in death by his parents; a brother, George Jeffrey Cloke; two brothers in infancy, Gary Lee Cloke Jr. and Tony Cloke, and one nephew, Gary David Cloke.

Left to share his story is his wife, Sandra Cloke of Oskaloosa, IA; four daughters, Brandy Cloke of Eldon, IA, Leah Hidanovic of Imperial, MO, Lucy Cloke of Floris, IA, and Nina Cloke of Fairfield, IA, one son, Soldier Cloke of Fairfield, IA; five stepchildren, Melissa Ragusi of Oskaloosa, IA, Justin Connelly of Oskaloosa, IA, Joshua Connelly of Lorimor, IA, Melinda Arnold of Oskaloosa, IA, and Felicity McCloud; three brothers, Russel and Max Cloke of Oklahoma, and Carl Kevin Cloke of Eldon, IA, as well as eight grandchildren and many extended family and friends.
