Patricia Ann Leach, 90, of Ottumwa, died April 12, 2022 at her home.
She was born January 26, 1932 in Monroe County, IA to Clifford Frank and Erma Faye VanGilder McNeal. Patty married Murvin E. Leach on June 19, 1948 and he preceded her in death on September 26, 2008.
Patty and her husband lived in Memphis, TN from 1973 to 1982 when they then moved to Sioux Falls, SD residing there until returning to Ottumwa in 1985. She and her husband managed the Salvation Army Thrift Store in Ottumwa for 14 years.
Patty was a member of Order of Eastern Star Ottumwa Chapter #112 and a member of Hospice Serving Davis & Wapello Counties Auxiliary.
Surviving is her daughter, Vickie Pilcher; 3 grandchildren, Misti (Kelly) Dawley, Lori Adamson and Jenni (Clint) Ver Steegh; 7 great-grandchildren, Brok, Madison, Dane, Kaleb, Chloe, Koby and Logan; 3 great-great-grandchildren, Charles, Roslyn and James; siblings, Grace Hanson, Don “Butch” McNeal, Derrell “Mick” McNeal, Belma Jean, Judy McNeal, Deborah Gray and Renee.
She was preceded in death by her son-in-law, Leon Pilcher; and siblings, Bill, Danny, Dave, James, Carolyn, Diana, Sally and Jay Louise.
Her body has been cremated. Private graveside services will be held at Shaul Cemetery with Mike Harmon officiating.
