Nonprofit Giving Incentive Scholarship

Keep Iowa Beautiful (KIB), the statewide nonprofit working towards enhancing the appearance and image of rural and urban Iowa, will be giving five scholarship awards to graduating seniors in 2019.

The first four scholarships will go to students who plan to enroll in an Iowa college or university to study the following: environmental science, community development, landscape architecture or architecture (historical emphasis) or community planning and sustainability are eligible. Students planning on studying communications, public relations and/or marketing will be eligible for the fifth scholarship.

According to a release from Keep Iowa Beautiful, this scholarship is in honor of William J. Fultz, long time KIB founding Board member and artist. He served as Chairman of CMF&Z that was acquired by Young & Rubicam and became the largest agricultural advertising agency in the world.

Applications for all five scholarships are due January 4, 2019, and will recieve notification in March. Awarded seniors will be invited to a ceremony in the Governor’s Office in Des Moines in March/April. For more information or to apply on-line go to
