Mary Elizabeth Randolph, age 76, of Centerville, passed away Thursday, October 6, 2022 at her home.

Mary was born on July 30, 1946 in Ottumwa, Iowa, the daughter of Albert and Lorene Anna (Bradley) Yacko.  She graduated from Walsh High School in Ottumwa, Iowa with the Class of 1964.  On February 11, 1966, Mary was united in marriage to Larry Charles Randolph, and to this union two children were born, Tracey and Darcy.

Mary loved her Chicago Cubs! She was also extremely fond of bowling, and belonged to many bowling leagues.  She held all the league’s offices, President, Secretary and Treasurer.  She enjoyed playing cards with her friends and family, camping and fishing.  She was also fond of helping the Senior Lofts residents plan many activities.  Moreover, family was her biggest passion in life, and she cherished every moment spent with them.

Mary worked for St. Joseph Hospital in Ottumwa for over ten years.  She then became a dispatcher for City Cab in Ottumwa.  While owning a consignment shop on Main Street in Ottumwa with her husband Larry, she worked for Vaughn Automotive in the body shop for a period of time.

Left to cherish Mary’s memory are her husband of 56 years, Larry Randolph of Centerville; her daughters, Tracey (Patrick) Green of Ankeny and Darcy (Chris) Weilbrenner-Sheldon of Moravia; her grandchildren, Christine Weilbrenner of Des Moines, Brandon (Amanda) Weilbrenner of Moravia, Sean Weilbrenner of Ottumwa, Blake (Arianna) Weilbrenner of Moravia, Brock Sheldon of Albia, Briley (Jeremy) Aldridge of Lovilia, Marcus Green of Ankeny, Kathleen Green of Ankeny, and Joseph Green of Ankeny; ten great-grandchildren; three sisters, Beverly Martin of Ottumwa, Kathryn (Ron) Wilson of Moberly, MO, and Susan McMillin of Ottumwa; as well as several extended family members and friends.

Mary was preceded in death by her parents, Albert and Lorene Yacko; her sister, Patricia Melrose; her brothers-in-law, Gene Melrose and Glenn Martin; as well as many other family members and friends.

Per wishes, cremation has been accorded.  A Celebration of Life visitation will be held Saturday, October 22, 2022 at Lange Funeral Home and Crematory in Centerville with the family greeting friends from 2:00-4:00PM.  In lieu of flowers, memorials have been established to EveryStep Hospice of Centerville, and may be mailed to Lange Funeral Home and Crematory, ATTN: Randolph family, 1900 South 18th Street, Centerville, Iowa 52544.
