Man arrested in Robbery Investigation

(Press Release) – On 03/09/2018 at approximately 09:50 a.m., a robbery in progress was reported at Everybody’s in Fairfield.  The reporting party stated that an adult male wearing a long sleeve green T-shirt, red pants and military style cap held a knife to an employee and demanded money.  The caller stated that the suspect ran out of the building to the west toward BP Amoco, and was observed looking into a vehicle.

The caller then stated that the suspect was attempting to re-enter the store, but was locked out.  David Lawrence Dannemann (33) of Fairfield, was taken into custody.  Dannemann was arrested on the charge of Robbery 1st Degree.  This is a class B felony punishable by up to 25 years in prison.

The Fairfield Police Department would like to thank the Jefferson County Sheriff’s Office and the Jefferson County Attorney’s Office for their assistance with this investigation and arrest.

A charge is merely an accusation.  All suspects are considered innocent until proven guilty in a court of law.
