Mahaska Health in Oskaloosa, along with Ottumwa Radio Group, want to congratulate Albia wrestler Paul Ballard, our 92.7 KTWA Athlete of the Week!
Despite suffering his first loss of the season in the semifinal, the top-ranked Ballard gained entry into the state tournament with a second-place finish in the Ballard district tournament at 285 pounds last Saturday. Ballard had a record of 46-1 entering this week’s state tourney.
Our KTWA Athlete of the Week program is made possible thanks to the generosity of Mahaska Health, plus the cooperation of our area schools. This is a great accomplishment and one to be very proud of.
