Iowa State-Iowa Kickoff Time Announced

Tailgaters, make your plans now.

The Big Ten Conference announced on Wednesday that the Iowa State-Iowa football game at Kinnick Stadium on September 13 will kick off at 2:30 in Iowa City.  In previous years, games in the Cy-Hawk rivalry held at Kinnick Stadium were televised on the Big Ten Network; however, this season’s in-state rivalry game will be shown on either ABC, ESPN or ESPN2.

The Cyclones and Hawkeyes have made a habit of having close finishes in recent seasons.  Iowa won in Ames last season 27-21, but ISU captured the previous two games, winning 9-6 in 2012 and 44-41 in three overtimes in 2011.
