The Iowa Department of Public Health (IDPH) is looking for women to participate in interviews regarding cancer screenings.
The one-on-one interviews will be conducted over the phone. According to the IDPH, the goal is to gain a better understanding of the community’s breast health and what barriers are encountered. IDPH is targeting women with breast tissue between the ages of 40-65 years.
A special priority is being considered for African American and Latina women. Participants will be given a $30 Visa gift card for their time and knowledge.
IDPH is attempting to comprehend why individuals do not receive cancer screenings.
Anyone interested in being interviewed can call 1-866-339-7909 to schedule.
